The
phrase “mi casa es su casa” starts with the Magana family
and the Francis Arlene Hotel. From the moment I walk into the lobby I'm greeted with smiles and hugs from the family and the staff. It makes me feel good to know how much I've been missed since the year before. This has been going on for ten years. While the hotel changes physically (a few more rooms added, new coat of peach paint, Manuela's courtyard, young Jerry's horticultural expertise) there are certain things that never change and that's the good feeling I know I've come home! When I look over my balcony I'm going to see the same faces of other guest who, like me, return to our „extended family" This is more then a hotel... There's celebrated birthdays where cake is shared by all, fish dinners compliment of Gerardo Sr, a class in tamale making by Manuela, and all the other expressions of warmth and sharing this family gives to their guest. The Francis Arlene Hotel truly tries and succeeds to be the best on Isla Mujeres! |

We
are both experienced visitors to Mexico. Over the
last 8 to 10 years we have continued to return to the Francis Arlene hotel, our “home away from home”. We particularly enjoy the quiet family atmosphere here. With friendly, helpful staff, the room have comfortable beds and the administration, the Reservation procedure, maintenance and housekeeping and all services are excellent. am delighted to say that I have stayed at the Francis Arlene many times in the past ten years. The Francis Arlene, which is a family owned hotel, has always been very comfortable, incredibly clean and the family and staff have always greeted me with welcoming words. I have two teenage daughters and safety is a big issue when traveling but I feel completely safe staying at the Francis Arlene. I look forward to going back to Isla Mujeres and staying at the Francis Arlene - - It's like going home to family!! |
